DAY 1 : Arrival & transfer to Tumling
Pick up from Siliguri & transfer to Dhotrey via Mirik , Pashupati & Manebhanjan ( 85 km , 3 ½ hrs. of drive approx. ). After a small briefing of the ongoing tour , trek starts for Tumbling ( 6 km , 2 hrs of trek ).Overnight stay at Tumbling.
DAY 2 : Trek to Kalipokhari
After breakfast trek continues , proceed for Kalapokhari from Tumbling ( 14 km , 4 ½ hrs. of trek ). The Kalipokhri Lake is another major attraction of the region. It has dark waters which are considered sacred by the local people.It is believed that Nepalese worship this sacred lake & no one is allowed to take a dip or swim here. Overnight stay at Kalapokhari.
DAY 3 : Trek to Sandakphu
Trek continues , after breakfast proceed for Sandakphu ( 6 km , 2 ½ hrs. of trek ) . Sandakphu is a wonderland for the trekkers. It's located at an altitude of 11,929ft (i.e. 3,636 meters). This is highest peak in the state of West Bengal, India. Overnight stay at Sandakphu.
DAY 4 : Sandakphu to Phalut
Trek continues , the word Phalut ( 11,811 ft) which is derived from the Lepcha word Fak-Luk, means "Barren Peak" The trail is considered as one of the most enjoyable and scenic walks in the Himalayas.The trek to Phalut( 21 km ) is about 07 hours. Overnight at Phalut.
DAY 5 : Phalut to Gorkhey
Post breakfast trek continues to Gorkhey ( 15 km , 4 hrs. trek approx.).The route is full of dense forest of bamboo , pine , chestnut & hamlock , Rohododrendon.Overnight stay at Gorkhey.
DAY 6 : Gorkhey - Srikhola
Post breakfast trek continues to Srikhola ( 21 km , 6 hrs. trek approx.)The trail is passes through forest & then descends to Srikhola.Overnight stay at Srikhola.
DAY 7 : Srikhola to NJP railway station / Siliguri
Early morning breakfast , then descends to Rimbik ( 7 km , 2 hrs. trek).After that drive to Manebhanjan ( 43 km , 2 hrs. drive approx) & then to New Jalpaiguri (NJP) railway station ( 92 km , 3 ½ - 4 hrs. drive approx.).Tours ends.
