DAY 1 : Arrival & transfer to Tumling
Pick up from Siliguri & transfer to Dhotrey via Mirik , Pashupati & Manebhanjan ( 85 km , 3 ½ hrs. of drive approx. ). After briefing about ongoing tour, trek starts for Tumling – it is situated at an altitude of 9600 ft.( 6 km , 2 hrs of trek ).Overnight stay at Tumbling.
DAY 2 : Trek to Kalapokhari
After breakfast trek continues , proceed for Kalapokhari from Tumbling ( 14 km , 4 ½ hrs. of trek ).Kalipokhari (13km. 1 hr. drive approx. 10400ft). Via Gairibas (7 km, 8600 ft.). The Kalipokhri Lake is another major attraction of the region. It has dark waters which are considered sacred by the local people.It is believed that Nepalese worship this sacred lake & no one is allowed to take a dip or swim hereOvernight stay at Kalapokhari.
DAY 3 : Trek to Sandakphu
Trek continues , after breakfast proceed for Sandakphu ( 6 km , 2 ½ hrs. of trek ) . Sandakphu is a wonderland for the trekkers. It's located at an altitude of 11,929ft (i.e. 3,636 meters). This is highest peak in the state of West Bengal, India. The trek to Sandakphu goes all along the Singalila range.Overnight stay at Sandakphu.
DAY 4 : Trek to Rimbik
Trek continues , proceed for Rimbik ( 21 km from Sandakphu , 7 hrs. of trek ) via Gurdum , Srikhola ( 14 km from Sandakphu ).Overnight stay at Rimbik.
DAY 5 : Proceed to Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri (NJP) railway station
Next one has to drive to Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri (NJP) railway station from Rimbik (95 km , 4 hrs. of journey approx.) .Board in a vehicle at Rimbik , Our representative will assist you for forwarding journey. Tour ends.
