DAY 1 : Arrival & transfer to Thimphu

On arrival at Falakata railway station (69km) / Alipurduar railway station (55km) / Hasimara railway station (19km) - meet & greet & transfer to Phuentosholing .Processing for permit , then proceed for Thimphu ( 165 km , 6 – 6 ½ hrs. drive approx.).Enroute visit Chuka Dam (Top View).Overnight stay at Thimphu.

DAY 2 : Thimphu full day city tour

Post breakfast proceed for a city tour , covering Buddha point , BBS tower , Tashicchhoe Dzong , The memorial chorten , National library , The Institute of Traditional Medicine . Centenary Farmer Market , Changlimithang Stadium , School of arts & crafts , Handicraft school , Zangthopelri lhakhang , Motithang takin reserve (Takin Zoo) , Semthoka Dzong.Overnight stay at Thimphu.

DAY 3 : Thimphu – Punkha & Wangdu –Punakha

Transfer To Punakha. (3 hrs. drive approx. 90 Km )Punakha is the administrative centre of Punakha dzongkhag, districts of Bhutan. Punakha was the capital of Bhutan. It Has a population of 25,700. Wangdue Phodrang is a town and capital (dzongkhag thromde) of Wangdue Phodrang District in central Bhutan. It Has a Population Of 34,300. Enroute Visit 1) Dochu la Pass, 2) Druk Wangyal Lhakhang. 3) Punakha Dzong, 4) Wangdue Phodrang, 5) Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten.Overnight Stay at Punakha.

DAY 4 : Punakha to Paro

Post breakfast Transfer to Paro, Paro is Destination Of Scenic Beauty, The Only International Airport of Bhutan in Paro. It Has a Population of 39,800. (which is approx. 4 Hours /143 Km From Punakha & Wangdue). Check-In at Hotel Overnight Stay at Paro.

DAY 5 : Paro to Chele La pass ( 45 km , 2hrs. drive) & Haa Valley only (22 km , 1 hr. drive)

Early morning breakfast proceed for a thrilling journey to Chele La pass ( 4200 meter) .On a clear day one can sight Mt.Chomolhari & Jichu Drakey from here.Another 22 km drive will take to you to Haa Valley (It is an army occupied zone , hence you can have the outside view).Back to Paro & night stay.

DAY 6 : Paro full day city tour

Post breakfast Visit 1) Drukgyal Dzong, 2) View of Taktsang Monastery, 3) Kichulanka Monastery, 4) Ta Dzong, 5) Paro Rinpung Dzong (Museum), 6) Nya-Mey Zam, 7) Dungtse Lhankhang, 8) Druk Choeding. Overnight Stay at Paro.

DAY 7 : Paro – Jaldapara National Park

Post breakfast check out & proceed for Jaldapara via Phuentosholing ( 198 km , 7 hrs. drive approx.).Check in & collect next day morning elephant ride ticket.Overnight stay at Jaldapara National Park.

DAY 8 : Transfer to Kalimpong

Early morning enjoy thrilling elephant safari from Hollong.Post breakfast check out & proceed for Kalimpong (155 km , 4 – 4 ½ hrs. drive approx.).Evening visit local market .Overnight stay at Kalimpong.

DAY 9 : Transfer to Gangtok

After breakfast proceed for Gangtok ( 92 km , 2 ½ - 3 hrs. of drive approx).Gangtok the capital of Sikkim.Situated at an altitude of ( 5500 feet ). With a spectacular view of the Khangchendzonga, the town provides the perfect base for travel through the state. Evening stroll around the Mall / local market.Overnight stay at Gangtok.

DAY 10 : Excursion to Tsangu Lake / Tsomgo Lake & Baba mandir

Post breakfast proceed for next round of sightseeing.Today’s excursion will take you to the enthralling Tsangu / Tsomgo Lake ( 55 km ) which is located at a height of 12,400 ft above the sea level, this is holy lake of Sikkim after that visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir ( 13,200 feet). After that you will be driven back to the hotel.Evening is free . overnight stay in Gangtok.

DAY 11 : Gangtok Local Sightseeing

Post breakfast start for the city tour of Gangtok – Visit to Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery, White Hall, Flower Show, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, and Tashi View point . Over Night stay at Gangtok

DAY 12 : Transfer to Pelling

Post breakfast proceed to Pelling via scenic road – This is a drive of 140 kilometers 3 ½ - 4 hours through scenic road – visit Namchi , Chardham .Evening free to roam around the small settlement .Over Night stay at Pelling.

DAY 13 : Pelling Local sightseeing

Post breakfast proceed for Pelling day visit Rimbi water Falls, Rimbi Rock Garden, Kechopalri Lake , Kechopalri Monastery, Kanchenjunga water Falls, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse ruins, Over Night stay at Pelling

DAY 14 : Transfer to Darjeeling

Post breakfast proceed for Darjeeling ( 135 km , 3 – 3 ½ hrs. Drive approx).It is situated at an altitude of 6710 ft.Darjeelng boast of its tea , Magnifiacnt view of Mt.Kanchenjunga & world famous Tiger Hill (provides stunning sunrise with Mt.Kanchenjunga).Over night stay at Darjeeling.

DAY 15 : Darjeeling Local Sight Seeing

Early morning at about 3:45 am drive to (8000 feet / 2440 meters) Tiger hill through primitive forests of oak, magnolia to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather) – On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial & Batasia Loop – Back to hotel for breakfast - After having breakfast, a sightseeing tour of Darjeeling will be arranged. Within this tour, you can visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view) and Japanese Temple , Peace Pagoda.Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

DAY 16 : Departure

Post breakfast check out & proceed for NJP railway station / Bagdogra airport via Pashupati (Indo-Nepal border ) , Pashupati Market , Mirik Lake (If time permits , one can opt for boating at Sumendu Lake), tea garden ( 110 km , 3 ½ - 4 hrs. drive approx.) .Tours ends.

At Sikkim

DOCUMENT REQUIRED

SCANNED COPY OF VOTER CARD OR DRIVING LICENCE OR PASSPORT ALONG WITH PASSPORT SIZE PHOTOGRAPH OF ALL TRAVELLERS
NB : NRI, OCI, PIO Card holder & Foreign National are not allowed to visit Baba Mandir&Nathula Pass. They are allowed to visit till Tsangu Lake, with a valid permit. They also have to be 02 & above in number to visit Tsangu Lake. For getting the valid permit these guest will have to bring with them their valid passport & visa / OCI / PIO Card. They will also be required to bring along with them 08 passport size photograph for processing their permits into Sikkim, Tsangu Lake, Lachen&Lachung. There will be an additional cost for processing the permit & making the tour applicable. Kindly write to us for additional cost.
For Indian Passport Holders to process the permit we would require the following:

  • 03 passport size photograph of each member traveling whether Adult or Children with their name, age & gender written behind each photograph.
  • Photo Copy of Photo ID proof of each member traveling whether Adult or Children. Original to be brought with self.
  • A list mentioning the Name Age & Gender of all traveler family wise.
  • Any documents issued by Central or State Government having Photo, Name and the address will be considered as ID Proof. The Photo ID Proof can be anyone of the following, Driving License, Voter Card or Valid Passport. Aadhar Card & Pan Card is not accepted as ID proof by the authorities.
  • In case of Child traveling below 18 Years or couple traveling where there is no ID proof of wife, there has to be a written declaration given from the parents / husband.
  • For Tsangu Lake &Nathula Pass , LACHEN & LACHUNG there is no refund, after the permit is confirmed by Sikkim tourism, due to whatsoever reason (Land slide, Heavy rain fall, VIP Movement, Health issue etc).

 

At Bhutan immigration

    In case of not holding the above document, guest need to approach to the office of Consulate General of India, India Embassy for getting permission for entry into Bhutan. The following documents are required at the office of Consulate General of India, India Embassy for identification of Indian Citizenship

  • Ration card
  • School / college Identity Card with Photo for those who are less than 18 Years
  • Marriage Certificate
  • Bank passbook with photo attested
  • Please check with your mobile service provider for charges related to Bhutan

Note:

Indian Embassy is closed on Saturday & Sunday. Permit on Saturday & Sunday is issued by Main Gate office, Department of immigration, Phuentsholling, Bhutan

Don’ts

  • Do not carry Indian INR 500/- or INR 1000/- Currency Notes. It is Illegal.
  • Tobacco & Tobacco products are banned in Bhutan.
  • Do not bring any plant or agricultural product out of Bhutan. It is Illegal.
  • Credit cards are accepted in selected establishments in Bhutan.

Tips for Traveler:

  • Request permission before taking photographs of people, events or objects
  • Inside the premises of Temples, Dzongs or Monastery, photographs are not permitted.
  • Photographs is only permitted in the court yard area.
  • Artifacts or Antiques, large or small, ruined or not, they are regarded as sacred.
  • Please take of hats while entering Dzongs, Temples or Monastery.
  • Shorts / Half Pants are not permitted while entering a Dzong, Temple or Monastery
  • While in a Dzong, Temple, Monastery, please switch off cell phones or in the Silent / Vibrating Mode
  • Please speak softly within the religious premises
  • Check-in 12:00 hours / Check-out time is 11:00 hours in hotel
  • Please keep cool with the drivers as they are not tourism educated and come from different remote villages
  • On arrival of guests we will provide local contact numbers of our executive, who will handle the entire operation
  • If any tourist spot do not complete for closing day & if they want to do the same on next day then they have to pay the extra cost for the vehicle
  • Shorts / Half Pants are not permitted while entering a Dzong, Temple or Monastery
  • Please maintain the timing for the sightseeing / transfers - Otherwise guest must have to arrange their own to reach at the parking stand
  • Room Heater available with an Extra Cost Bourne by the guest directly
  • Due to shortage of power the guest sometimes, may have to bear it with candle light
  • For Extra Adult in the room we will provide an Extra Bed (wherever quoted), but some hotels only provide a roll out bed / Mattress and have no provision of an Extra Bed
  • In unavoidable circumstances operators have the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability / road conditions without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising any services
  • hild sharing parent's room will not be provided an Extra Bed

Cancellation:

We are not responsible for tour cancellation due to Force Majeure clause (Expenses / Cancellations incurred due to mishaps, landslide, strikes, political unrest etc.) Additional expenses incurred due to Force Majeure Clause on the ongoing tour shall be borne by the guest on actual.
