DAY 1 : Arrival & transfer to Jaldapara National Park
On arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) (143km, 3 ½ – 4 hrs. drive approx.) / New Jalpaiguri (NJP) ( 130 km , 3 - 3 ½ hrs. drive approx.) / Hasimara Railway station ( 12 km , 20 min. drive approx.).meet & greet session then transfer to Jaldapara National Park.post lunch stand in a queue to collect ticket for the elephant ride ( need to book in advance by the visitors himself).Overnight stay at Jaldapara , under Jaldapara National Park.
DAY 2 : Elephant safari – day trip to Jayanti , Rajabhatkhawa
Early morning enjoy thrilling elephant safari in Hollong.This is the most exciting journey to be enjoyed during your stay at Jaldapara.The forest is mainly savannah covered with tall elephant grasses.One can sight Asiatic one horned Rhinocerous , leopard, elephants, sambar, barking deer, spotted deer, hog deer, wild pigs, and bison. Back to your stay , post breakfast proceed for a day trip to Rajabhatkhawa ( 49 km , 2 hrs. drive approx.) “ The gateway of Buxa Tiger Reserve (BTR) , Jayanti ( 64 km , 2 ½ hrs. drive approx.) A picturesque spot along the meandering Jayanti river forming a natural border with beautiful Bhutan hills..A drive of another 5 km from Jayanti more you reach Santalabari where you could enjoy the trek to Buxa Fort ( 4 km , 2 hrs. trek).Post lunch back toJaldapara & night stay.
DAY 3 : Transfer to Gorumara National Park
Post breakfast check out & proceed for Gorumara National Park (90 km, 2 ½ - 3 hrs. drive approx).Check in resort freshen up.Post lunch experience Jungle safari / watch tower ( subject to availability & optional).Overnight stay at Lataguri / Murti under Gorumara National Park.
DAY 4 : Samsing – Suntalekhola – Jhalong – Bindu( Day trip)
Post breakfast proceed for a day visit to Samsing , Suntalekhola , Rocky island , Jhalong , Bindu , Jaldhaka Hydel project.These segment of excursion will take you to the closest view of the virgin nature in Dooars.Overnight stay atLataguri / Murti under Gorumara National Park.
DAY 5 : Transfer to Kalimpong
Post breakfast check out & proceed to Kalimpong ( 120 km , 3 ½ - 4 hrs. drive approx.) via Gorubathan , Lava – the drive is thorough lush green tea garden & hils.Kalimpong- situated on the foothills of the Himalayas at an elevation of 1243 meters / 4078 feet – Evening stroll around the local market.Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
DAY 6 : Transfer to Kalimpong
Post breakfast check out & proceed for Kalimpong city tour Visit Deolo view point , Durpin Dara , Mangal Dham , Pine view cactus nursery , Army golf course (drive pass) , Dr.Grahams home.One can have the MOMO the famous food of Kalimpong. Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
DAY 7 : Transfer to Darjeeling
Post breakfast check out & drive for local city tour of Kalimpong.Visit Deolo view point , Mangal Dham , Pine view cactus nursery , Army golf course (drive pass) , Dr.Grahams home.Post lunch proceed for Darjeeling – The Queen Of Hill ( 65 km , 2 ½ hrs. drive approx) situated at an altitude of 6710 feet ,provides excellent view of Mt.Kanchenjunga & lush green tea garden.Overnight stay at Darjeeling
DAY 8 : Darjeeling local sightseeing (IXB)
Early morning at about 3:45 am drive to (8000 feet / 2440 meters) Tiger hill through primitive forests of oak, magnolia to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather) – On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial & Batasia Loop .Post breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre (closed on Sunday), Happy valley tea Garden (outer view) and Japanese temple , Peace Pagoda. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
DAY 9 : Departure to New Jalpaiguri (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) - Morning breakfast
After breakfast transfer to New Jalpaiguri (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport (IXB) Nearly 100 kilometers 3 ½ - 4 hours’ via Pashupati (Indo – Nepal border) , Mirik , tea garden , Mirik lake , (if time permits one can do boating in Lake - optional & excluding package).Tour ends.
