DAY 1 : Guwahati Arrival & Overnight stay
Arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station. You will be received by our representative. Meet and greet at the Airport / Station and then proceed to hotel. After a short refreshment, visit SrimantaSankardevaKalakshetra. Evening you can go for River Cruise on the mighty river Brahmaputra. Overnight stay at Guwahati.
DAY 2 : Guwahati - Shillong (100 km, 2 ½ hrsapprox)
After an early breakfast, visit Kamakhya Temple. Later drive to Shillong, known as Scotland of the east is a popular hill station of north east India. En-route visit Umium lake (Barapani lake) – largest manmade lake of the state Meghalaya. On arrival, check into the hotel. Evening visit Wards Lake. Evening free for leisure activities.Overnight stay in Shillong.
DAY 3 : Shillong - Cherrapunjee - Shillong
After breakfast, will go for a day long excursion to Cherrapunjee (65 km, 2 hrsapprox) – the wettest place in the world. On way to Cherrapunjee will visit Elephant falls. At Cherrapunjee enjoy the numerous waterfalls like Nohkalikai falls, Mawsmai falls, Double Decker Bridge and also experience the adventure of caving at Mawsmai cave. Evening drive back to Shillongamd free for leisure and shopping activities at Police Bazar.Overnight stay in Shillong.
DAY 4 : Shillong local
After breakfast, proceed for Shillong sightseeing. Visit Shillong Peak, Don Bosco Museum, Polo Ground and Cathedral of Mary.Evening free for leisure activities.Overnight stay at Shillong.
DAY 5 : Shillong - Guwahati - Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Guwahati. After reaching Guwahati, drive to Guwahati railway station for your journey to Gangtok.Overnight train journey.
DAY 6 : NJP - Darjeeling ( 86 km , 3 hrs. drive approx.)
On arrival meet & greet session at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) after that our representative will brief the tour , then take the departure transfer toDarjeeling , at an elevation of 6710 feet , popularly known as the Queen of the hills –Darjeeling offers spectacular views of Mt. Kanchendzonga– Stroll to Mall - Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
DAY 7 : Darjeeling local sightseeing
Early morning at about 3:45 am drive to (8000 feet / 2440 meters) Tiger hill through primitive forests of oak, magnolia to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather) – On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial &Batasia Loop – Back to hotel for breakfast - After having breakfast, a sightseeing tour of Darjeeling will be arranged. Within this tour, you can visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view) and Japanese Peace Pagoda.Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
DAY 8 : Transfer to Gangtok via half day local sightseeing
Early morning breakfast proceed for Gangtok ( 92 km , 2 ½ - 3hrs. of drive approx).via half day Gangtok local sightseeing – Visit Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do DrulChorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery, White Hall, Flower Show.Overnight stay at Gangtok.
DAY 9 : Excursion to TsomgoLake , Baba Mandir&Nathula Pass
Post breakfast proceed for next round of sightseeing.Today’s excursion will take you to the enthralling Tsangu / Tsomgo Lake ( 55 km ) which is located at a height of 12,400 ft above the sea level, this is holy lake of Sikkim after that visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir ( 13,200 feet). After that you will be driven back to NathulaPass.Back to Gangtok.Overnight stay at Gangtok.
DAY 10 : Departure to New Jalpaiguri (NJP)
Early breakfast transfer to New Jalpaiguri (NJP) nearly 120 kilometres 3 ½ - 4hours’ drive – Guest are advised to start early but not to rush - Forwarding Journey.
