Day 1 : Arrival & transfer to Thimphu
On arrival at Falakata railway station (69km) / Alipurduar railway station (55km) / Hasimara railway station (19km) - meet & greet & transfer to Phuentosholing .Processing for permit , then proceed for Thimphu ( 165 km , 6 – 6 ½ hrs. drive approx.).Enroute visit Chuka Dam (Top View).Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 2 : Thimphu full day city tour
Post breakfast proceed for a city tour , covering Buddha point , BBS tower , Tashicchhoe Dzong , The memorial chorten , National library , The Institute of Traditional Medicine . Centenary Farmer Market , Changlimithang Stadium , School of arts & crafts , Handicraft school , Zangthopelri lhakhang , Motithang takin reserve (Takin Zoo) , Semthoka Dzong.Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 3 : Thimphu – Punkha & Wangdu – Thimphu
Transfer To Punakha. (3 hrs. drive approx. 90 Km )Punakha is the administrative centre of Punakha dzongkhag, districts of Bhutan. Punakha was the capital of Bhutan. It Has a population of 25,700. Wangdue Phodrang is a town and capital (dzongkhag thromde) of Wangdue Phodrang District in central Bhutan. It Has a Population Of 34,300. Enroute Visit 1) Dochu la Pass, 2) Druk Wangyal Lhakhang. 3) Punakha Dzong, 4) Wangdue Phodrang, 5) Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten.Overnight Stay at Punakha.
Day 4:Punakha to Paro
Post breakfast Transfer to Paro, Paro is Destination Of Scenic Beauty, The Only International Airport of Bhutan in Paro. It Has a Population of 39,800. (which is approx. 4 Hours /143 Km From Punakha & Wangdue). Check-In at Hotel Overnight Stay at Paro.
Day 5 : Paro to Chele La pass ( 45 km , 2hrs. drive) & Haa Valley only (22 km , 1 hr. drive)
Early morning breakfast proceed for a thrilling journey to Chele La pass ( 4200 meter) .On a clear day one can sight Mt.Chomolhari & Jichu Drakey from here.Another 22 km drive will take to you to Haa Valley (It is an army occupied zone , hence you can have the outside view).Back to Paro & night stay.
Day 6: Paro full day city tour
Post breakfast Visit 1) Drukgyal Dzong, 2) View of Taktsang Monastery, 3) Kichulanka Monastery, 4) Ta Dzong, 5) Paro Rinpung Dzong (Museum), 6) Nya-Mey Zam, 7) Dungtse Lhankhang, 8) Druk Choeding. Overnight Stay at Paro.
Day 7 : Paro – Jaldapara National Park
Post breakfast check out & proceed for Jaldapara via Phuentosholing ( 198 km , 7 hrs. drive approx.).Check in & collect next day morning elephant ride ticket.Overnight stay at Jaldapara National Park.
Day 8: Transfer to Gorumara National Park
Early morning enjoy thrilling elephant safari from Hollong.Post breakfast check out & proceed for Gorumara National Park ( 95 km , 2 ½ - 3 hrs. drive approx.)Afternoon enjoy Jungle safari (subject to availability).Overnight stay at Lataguri / Murti under Gorumara National Park.
Day 9 : Day trip to Samsing – Suntalekhola
Early morning breakfast proceed for day trip to Jhalong – Bindu – Samsing – Suntalekhola , the drive is through lush green forest & delight for sore eyes.Overnight stay at Lataguri / Murti under Gorumara National Park.
Day 10 : Transfer to Kalimpong
Post breakfast check out & proceed for Kalimpong via Gorubathan , Lava ( 120 km , 3 – ½ hrs. drive approx).On the way visit Lava monastery (by walk).Evening visit local market. Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
Day 11 : Kalimpong city tour & departure to station / airport
Post breakfast , check out &drive for full day Kalimpong city tour covering Visit Deolo view point , Durpin dara , Mangal dham , Pine view cactus nursery , Dr.Grahams home , Army gold course (drive pass) , Buddha statue & park ,Hanuman Mandir.After that drive to NJP railway station ( 72 km , 2 ½ hrs. drive ) / Bagdogra Airport ( 85 km , 2 ½ - 3 hrs. drive approx.)Tour ends.
